The Soul of a Female Entrepreneur

If you are reading these words, you have passion and are following a dream, a burning desire that will not be denied. People who don’t possess these qualities would never buy a book on funding a small business in the first place! You are here because you have the soul of an Entrepreneur.

You’ve probably always had it. That fire in the belly is not something that appears, fully formed, when you reach adulthood. The entrepreneurial spirit has more than likely been with you since you were a little girl, showing up as qualities that made you different from the other kids around you.

When you were a child, were you stubborn as heck? A little bit rebellious (or a lot)? Did your curiosity get you into trouble? Did you dream up plans and schemes that your friends’ thought was impossible?

In a society that values conformity, children born with entrepreneurial spirits often spell T.R.O.U.B.L.E. for parents and teachers. “Why don’t you just cooperate?” “Stop daydreaming and pay attention!” “Don’t you know that curiosity killed the cat?” and so on… and so forth…

Ironically, the qualities which may have been perceived by others as your greatest weaknesses when you were a child can be your greatest strengths today. Regardless of your gifts, you are fueled by passion, discipline, creativity, self-belief and perseverance. Those qualities have brought you a long way, and they are ultimately the characteristics that will allow you to go the distance. You canlive life on your own terms!

But what about funding? It takes more than a good idea to get a business off the ground. A few successful female entrepreneurs are independently wealthy when they start their businesses, but the vast majority begin right where you are now—with an idea that has to be financed. We at MoneyBlitz are here to let you know that funding your business can be done. It’s not going happen overnight, but it’s doable, and we are here to help you.
